Default My fine feathered friend

Hi all, This Chico is my 34 year old Red Lord Amazon. He is very friendly as long as your the only one around when holding him. It's a matter of "If you can't bite the one you want, bite the one your with". He get freaked out if there are to many people around. He only talks when he wants to. And the cats are scared to death of him. But we love him anyway.

I love his colors
He looks rambunctious
Do you have his wings clipped or do you let him fly around inside?
What does he say when no one else is around?

He can be very rambunctious, but I think he got tired of having his picture taken , is why he looks spooked.
No his wings are not clipped, He never even trys to fly. We keep him in the cage to protect the cats. I take him out often. For your last question You will have to ask him.

Dave, he's a beautiful bird! His personality sounds a bit like my African Grey's. My cats are terrified of her, too and she enjoys every minute of it!

Don't tell Chico but African Grey's are my favorite. The best talker's. Would love to see a picture of her.
My neighbor has one that sounds just like the owner and sometimes he fools me

Chico is a really beautiful wild thang.

Two words come to mind, "leather gloves".

What a colourful bird!
Did you say that Chico is 34 years old! How long have you had him?
