That is a gorgeous bird you have there flhiker!! I love the bird stories as well...I have a Quaker Parrot, whom I just adore..of course, he's a LOT smaller than your Chico LOL...he's just over a year old, and is very busy learning lots of new words LOL...and learning to be a "good bird"....meaning, he was a wicked little biter for a while there, but is much better now...he's the same with other ppl, makes him fussy and he gets quite protective/possessive of me......we're working on that......they are such characters.....never fail to make me laugh. I'm very very happy that Chico has found a loving, stable home...that is so important!!
