This is a photo from my 2 goldfish. The biggest one that is swimming in the front is already 6 years old. When I did buy them they had much more color. The big one was orange with white and the other one was yellow.
After a while they completely lost color. Now someone did tell me I should give them fishfood with carrots. The caroteen in the carrots will give them back their color. I don't know if it has to do with the food, but the little one is already getting more yellow again. They are really tame. When I clean the fishtank they keep sucking on my fingers. That really tickles.
