a few more critters in the menagerie......
There are actually some more but for now..........
This girl is about 5-6 inches (approx 15cm) long. She's a millipede btw.
Imagine buying shoes for all those little feet.
Don't know what sex this one is yet but a neat lil devil all the same. It's a type of arboreal tarantula. (Quite harmelss btw.)

My mother in law loves things that are blue, but I just don't think I could sell her on that one.

Millipedes are awesome! Saw some in the Appalachians this spring with wild colours. Maybe I will post them later.

Ya never know, Jonada! I've run into a few folks who have gotten their boyfriend/girlfriend into the hobby or at least appreciating such critters more with Ts such as this. It's difficult to get intimidated by a sling (baby T or spider -- a shortened version of 'spiderling') to begin with. When you add in that the slings of this species are bright blue, it gets even harder to take the little buggers seriously. This in turn allows some arachophobes to get past their prejudices and see the beauty that is there.
Heck my leopard gecko, may she rest in peace, got my mom to admit that lizards can be cute!

Yes indeed. Though this one is odd in that it is not nearly as blue as others I've seen. It's coloration currently is somewhat similar to P. irminia.
