L'Agata... new cat in tha house!
This is Agatha, the new member of the family, who just arrived today... She was found few weeks ago on the streets and brought to the animal shelter... after several weeks in quarantine and several medical treatments, she was taken today to the area for "adoption"... Actually, we were there to get a different cat my partner had already seen... however, as we arrived, she jumped on my shoulder and started licking my ear and face... we changed our mind and brought her home with us...

Look at those eyes! She is really cute and intelligent looking. I am sure she was the one at the animal shelter picking out her owners!

100% true! :-)
but.. I can tell you.. I had never expected to have that much stress in the nouse as now.. I cannot even enter in the room where the cat Ben is... he only needs to smell the scent of Agatha and start meowing like if he had just came back from hell... wow! He has even bitten me! First time in 12 years!!! I think the next weeks will be quite "interesting"!!

Also, advice on introducing new cats to established territories (a little late I know sorry). We have found, especially if done before the introduction of a new cat that cleaning the house and introducing a strong scent (NOT CITRUS! Though cinnamon is good) to a home can help the established moggy to adjust faster and easier.
As you have already introduced Agatha, you may want to try Fussing Ben first, use a rag cloth, and then fuss Agatha with that rag cloth. It can help, as a cats sense of smell is far superior to our own. It can be done visa versa eventually, but at the beginning you want to new cat to smell like the old one (so to speak).
Hope that helps (if only a little!). Hopefully they will get on with each other eventually, and then they will team up on you!

WOW, good luck with that. When I introduced my new dog into the house, my cat stayed mad for almost a year and a half! Best wishes to your new "family," hope your fate is better than mine was, lol...
