My Lady...rescued dog, more like an angel sent...
Lady, the dog was found on a rainy afternoon in what I call "the drop off zone". It is a stretch of federal hwy where someone drops off all the dogs they steal but can not use. For a variety of reasons. ID tattoos chips or just spayed and neutered. There are many pure bred dogs found here dead on the side of the road. Usually hit by high speed traffic. and none of them will come to you when you try to help. They are scared and panicked. I have tried to rescue many others only to see them get hit or find them a day or two later on the shoulder.
Lady came and she got in my truck. Pure bred German Shepard. Some say worth over $800. Best dog I have ever known. Not for the value, but for the dog. She was about a year old. Soaking wet. Looked like a mutt.
The cat we rescued. I can not disclose the details, but he was in danger of death and we took him in. Shhhh. He still thinks it was the other way around.

Thank you for adopting your pets. I have a dog and three cats--all rescues as well.
They are both beautiful. I'm sure they give you much pleasure too.

Lady is beautiful, also kitty . They are lucky you have a good heart .
Dumping animals is almost the lowest of the low things people do , someone should dump them off in the middle of nowhere .. Gin

Gin - I have heard stories of people dumping off their elderly parents at hospitals and nursing homes because they didn't want to care for them! Utterly Disguising!
You are right - No matter what the creature -human or animal - those perpetrators should suffer some kind of consequence! |
