Max was a former breeding cat and when I got him, he was neutered, but he didn't realize he couldn't couple anymore, so when Pandora joined him at home (she was only 3 months), he started harassing her even if.... hem... well.. he is missing something..
The problem is that he doesn't want to give up and Pandora's life is really complicated...
My Hairy Harry was neutered when he was still a kitten. He still would grab Cali by the neck like he wanted to mount her. She would squawk and shake free (she, too, had been spayed young). A male veterinarian commented "well, he's still a male, what do you expect?" Funny, in spite of Harry's persecution of Cali, when he disappeared, she looked for him for a long time.

Really, I couldn't imagine they maintain the instinct..
Well.. sometimes it's embarrassing...
I hope mine will learn to go along well together one day or the other..

I don't think you have a BIG problem .... !!!!!!!
Beverly, proves the point that Cali kept looking for Harry when he went missing... that's "love" to me anyway.... even though they look like they don't appreciate it @ the time (those embarrassing moments....)

Ps: Pandora is a very cool name! what's Max's real name? if he has a longrer one that is?
