Default Critters around the pond.

Not necessarily pets they just come and go and we enjoy them, great to show the grandkids. ENJOY.... Jim.

Those are some really great pictures, Jim. All are interesting but I like that first one. I don't think I've ever seen a striped lily pad!

Fantastic, Jim! I consider them pets, or at least part of the family.

Jim ,
Looks like you grow lotus? That is fantastic.
John,
Yes
Manel , flowers bloom in the night. When we go to temple in the night can see all Manels are in full bloom while other are sleeping. you get two color here .purple and dark pink.
That very rare scene.
I love those pics so much.

Thanks for all the nice comments, and yes John the two waterliles are tropicals, the first one a daybloomer (Evelyn Randig) the second one is a nightbloomer (Mrs.G.C.Hitchcock). The bad news is here in Il. we have to treat them as annuals so when they're done they're done. I'm going to post some pics of our pond in a thread called Once around the pond, in Outdoor Gardening look for it and again thanks.... Jim. PS one more critter.
