Pasha the Elk Hound

As I am shy I thought I would post a photo of my 3 1/2 year old Elk Hound, Pasha.
She is quite typical of the breed, stubborn strong willed and doesn't listen to a word you say

It's funny, when I clicked on this thread, I expected to see a dog more similar to a Wolfhound. That's what I get for assuming!

@ Izzie, she stands 24inches high and weighs in at 44lb and people think she is crossbred a Husky <sigh> but I know what you mean, when I first looked them up they were not what I expected either.
She is a European snow dog so just loves the white stuff.

Beautiful dog!
While growing our first dog was a German Sheppard x Norwegian Elkhound - Smoky....he was a monster of a dog. The neighborhood kids were all scared of him although he was harmless to all except intruders. A complete free spirit; he roamed everwhere, mostly to my grade school!
Two pure bred Elkhounds followed.
