Debs, do you know how to check for dehydration?
Are her gums pink?

I thought Jassy was a dog! Sorry! That's worrisome that she's getting weaker but at least the fever is down a bit. My little guy and I are hoping for the best for you and Jassy.

I thought of all of you this morning as I had Jasmine put down. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done.
She really did fight hard but she was a little cat, delicate. When she began to cry early this morning, I wrapped her in her favorite blanket and took her in.
She had begun to turn yellow in her ears and eyes, too. A sure sign with this disease that the fight has been lost and horrific pain is just beginning.
I loved her so deeply and this hurts so bad. She was just a baby, one week past her second birthday.
Please, keep Frontline on all your pets. It's not 100% as we now know, but maybe it'll save some of our babies. My vet is recommending applying it every three weeks since the ticks are everywhere this year. Talk to your vet.
I would wish this pain on no animal or their parents.
Thank you again, my friends, for your sweet support.

I'm so sorry for your pain
It is THE hardest thing to do but I feel it is also the most loving and unselfish thing we can do for the animals we love so dearly.
Jassy was a special cat and you had a special relationship with her...remember that the time she spent with you was nothing but pure joy and smile as you remember her
Hugs

Deb, I am so very sorry
You did all you could for her. I know how painful it is to let a pet go, it truly is one of the hardest thing to go thru in life. Its just proof on how much we love them and all they meant to us in our lives.
Hugs to you Deb
Be happy at the bridge Jasmine ....

Oh Debs, I'm so sorry.... Losing pets is so painful, especially a pet so young. Making the decision to put her to sleep must have been so incredibly hard. I've been through it to, and hope I never will have to again, and I hope you won't have to either. But you spared her much pain and suffering, which to me the ultimate act of love.

Debs, I don't know what to say. When I put my Shih-tzu down last summer, nothing said to me made me feel better. You made the right decision and showed her love one last time in the most unselfish, compassionate way.
You stood by her and fought when she had the strength to do it. You let her go as soon as you knew she was suffering. Nobody could have loved her (and still love her) more than you did. I bet if she could speak, she would say, "Thank you, Momma. I love you and will wait for you by the Rainbow Bridge."

Deb, my heart goes out to you. You did the right thing, no matter how much it hurt.
She is waiting for you and what a reunion it will be!
