Just discovered my cat Posh likes avocado.
Really? Seriously? Avocado? She couldn't like something unhealthy like, say, marshmallows? Go figure.

Then again, I've had Schnauzers that couldn't get enough of Cantaloupe.

What are some of your pets strange favorite foods?

Avocados are ok for cats? I think I have heard they are not good for some kind of pet somewhere. well, I don't know.

My toad used to like my finger, lol.
My wife's parakeets like rice, cake, well just about anything she makes for us humans.
And peppers, they go nuts for peppers. The hotter the better.

My cat likes avocado too, we have to keep the fruit locked up so he doesn't eat them all up!

LOL. I have a cat that loves marshmallows. I have to bite it so it's small, but he eats it up. I also had a cat that liked green beans, she was a weird one.

And, only one of my 5 cats like Tuna. Spoiled!

Isn't avocado toxic for most animals, just like chocolate is?

I had a pet duck that loved emental cheese, and another that loved raw beef. Back when I lived in the US, our neighbor's dog loved to lap up Surge (soda that I don't think exists anymore) and Coca Cola.

Not that I think every website is correct, but it comes up over and over, so I think avacado is best avoided for dogs and cats!

I had a kitten that couldn't stay away from olive oil, we had to hide the olive oil bottle once we figured out why it was always knocked over--not that the kittens were allowed on the counter

And my parrot loves Cheerios soaked in milk--yes I know they aren't supposed to consume milk, but she hasn't read that page of the parrot manual

Well I have a cat that loves spaghetti with red sauce and yeast donuts. I do know that the skins and pits of the avocado is toxic to pet birds. It cause's heart problems.

My cat likes spicy food, proper curry and even ground pepper... It's one of the only things he will actually wait around and beg for.

We discovered this when white pepper was put down to stop him scratching up a section of carpet. He was found rolling around in it purring and then washing himself before dong it all over again.

Doesn't like Cat-nip though?
