Then, for some reason, my cat (his name is Puss Puss), loves chewing on plastic. It's weird. On very rare occasions, he has a taste for and a liking to play with orchids at the orchid's expense! :/ Most of the times he's well behaved around the plants though.

I also have a cat (1 out of 3) that LOVES to chew on plastic bags! I freaked out the first few times she did it, thought she was eating it. Nope, she just like the sound it makes when she's chewing it.
There isn't much my animals won't eat. My largest dog has picked oranges off a tree, dug a hole to hold the orange so he could use his front feet to peel it!
And much to my regret, I picked a few cherry tomatoes that had damaged skin and gave them to him. Well, I guess he saw me pick them and decided to help himself. And continues to help himself as long as I'm not looking! Oh, and not to mention his paper fetish! He will beg, very longingly, for the cardboard toilet paper roll! And you better not leave any important papers at nose level, very likely it will not be there later!
My cats will fight over anything that falls on the floor (if the dogs don't get it first!). My oldest cat would actually fight with my african grey parrot, through the cage bars, for little tid bits on the cage floor! (He's the fattest one of the cats, I wonder why!
)
I can't have ANY plants in the house, they would be eaten first by the cats and then as they hit the floor, the dogs would finish them off!
My birds love cooked pasta. And they love to play with uncooked pasta! I have one whose favorite thing in the world is pasta and shreds of swiss cheese.
Needless to say, feeding time is easy at my house!
