Default Daffy in her summer outfit

The mobile pet groomer came to the house this past Saturday. Daffy was only supposed to have her tummy shaved...she wiggles out of my grip when I'm combing her tummy fur (and she always wins). She was beginning to look like a Rastafarian...not that there's anything wrong with that!

Daffy in her first summer hair cut....

She's gorgeous either way. But she probably is a lot more comfortable with her new "do". All the little pests (fleas) of summer can't hide in her long hair anymore. We had a Persian--and we had moved into a house that we didn't know was infested. My DH would sit with tweezers and pick a couple of hundred off each night. Yech!!

I think she looks very cute in that lion cut...

She's a very cute persian! I love persian cats ! and yes definitely a 'lion cut'! Glad she's happy about it. did she have knots? maybe they were pulling on her skin?
At least you know you can get her shaved whenever needed and she's happy about it!

Daffy is adorable in her new do.

My 3 standard poodles get lion show cuts in the fall and spring but in the summer we just have them totally shaved. When first shaved, they really slink around and look mortified! Once they get over the indignity they are definitely more active and playful.

I have a kitty that needs this cut! She HATES being brushed and gets really stressed when we hold her down to get the mats out. A de-matting comb is great, but nothing beats a good pair of clippers! Sandy, she is adorable!
