Thank goodness he is alright! I would have been so scared they would have to have taken me to the ER.

I'm so afraid something like that will happen to my little Keiki, I watch her closely but can't keep an eye on her 24/7.
Give Joey a big pat for me.

Give him a pet for me, glad he is doing well . Thanks for the heads up .
Some use it in exotic bird nest boxes ,the babies can swallow it blocking the crop . I had a friend bring a bird baby to me with sour crop I did a crop wash guess what I pulled out, a small piece of corn cob which had blocked the opening to the intestine .

Joey is finally home from the vet.

He's groggy from pain meds but otherwise he's one happy pup. It's great to have him back.

He's sleeping in his crate and Luke and Genie crawled into Genie's crate (right next to Joey's) and are both asleep, scrunched up as close to Joey as possible.

Best news you could have shared today! Give him dog kisses from Cody, Hannibal, Ripley, Champ, Sully, and Daniel. Especially Daniel - he knows what surgery is all about!
