Well it does look like something out of a nightmare! What do you need to do to keep these guys alive? THis is freshwater right? I need some to eat algae in my ponds. Would they survive in a pond with only a few inches of water, that is chuck full of blue green algae? And would they take care of the problem?

Hi!
Machrobrachium lanchesteri lives in freshwater throughout its life cycle. I think it doesn't eat algea very much - plants, snails and little fish and other shrimps. She lives in her own tank and very easy to care.

[SIZE="4"]Great ! When first saw it, I was like, OH NO, another cool dangerous creature! I had just finished reading about pet snakes and poisonous frog that are being kept as pets by the way. So, first reaction then, oh, it's not dangerous, just very different looking, so it's cool.[SIZE]
