So girl frogs never sing? Now that would be confusing. One of my clients used to have poison dart frogs...is that what your frogs are? He kept them in a terrarium too. When he sold them I thought about getting a couple for our son but never got around to it until it was too late. Are they easy to keep?

Basically the males sing, and sing a lot. The females might chirp every now and then, but rarely. Same thing happens with birds I think. SOme females like to mimic the males and sing, just not as good, or as much.
Yes, they are poison dart frogs. Specifically Dendrobates pumilio 'bastimentos'
or otherwise known as the strawberry dart frog. They are not hard to keep once their requirements have been met. For more info I would go to: DendroBoard.com :: Index
