Is this a California species?
I was lucky enough to see the local native in its habitat years ago. A very cool experience and in very cool water!!!!
Had one as a pet but it got out of its tank and fell into the floor furnace. Or at least we think that what that awful smell was!!!
Not funny really but why am I laughing now!!! Old age sure twists a person's sense of humor!

She is awesome, such a beautiful colour. I like the video, it was interesting watching her eat her meal. She should have a treasure chest in with her too.
