My 3 buddies
I thought I would share my 3 pets. My family and I adopted these guys from our local animal shelter, the best thing we could have ever done. Big red is our cat, he gets into everything, nothing goes on without him knowing about it. Then there is Axle and Lily, Axle is the lighter brindle color and Lily is the darker brindle. They both got the best personalities, both so comical. Everything in our yard is Axles as you can see from the photos, and Lily, well I cant go anywhere with out her following me.

Aren't you just a fantastic person, getting these beautiful living things from the shelter. Thank goodness we still have kind people like you to help these lovely loyal little living things survive in this nasty world. Hope you enjoy them heaps. They have lovely faces.

Thanks for the kind words SueK. I just wish I had room for more. It does bother me a lot, how nasty this world can be to our most loyal of companions. I wish I could do more, but until then I do what I can. Thanks for checking out my friends, take care all.

I can't believe I missed this thread, your pets are so cute!! Axle looks like he owns the yard.
Getting shelter pets is the best thing to do. They have so much love to give and really deserve a loving home. I watch the animal cops series on animal planet regularily, and am deeply saddene by the cruelty and indifference towards pets. But it's nice to see them happy in their new homes afterwards.

Thanks Camille, there used to be a nice evergreen in that planter he's carrying. He looked so proud of himself with it so I decided to let him keep it and put the evergreen in the ground.
Thanks for looking all.

You have birds too? I just noticed the top of a cage in the first pic.

Yes, a cockatiel named Pepper, he is around 25 years old now and his favorite pass time is listening to the radio. He will put on a big fuss if you forget to turn it on in the morning.

That's funny! How long can a cockatiel live?
