Default Good Bye Simon

Simon was my Alexanderine he was given to me 6 years ago . Shortly after he was not acting right. I took him to an exotic vetrernarian. After tests it showed he had a liver problem he was medicated for several weeks . On the next visit blood work showed he was better .
Years went by with routine tests . He was due for another next week .
Mon . morning he was talking and eating appeared to be fine also in the afternoon . By Mon , night something was not right . He was gone by Tues. morning .
His problem was from a prior bad diet high in sunflower seed (which he loved ) and no supplements Vegs. Pellets & ect .. Simon is free now .. Gin

Oh Gin, I am so sorry. My condolences. Pets are hard. What a beautiful creature. I'm sure he will live on with you in your thoughts and memories.

It's always so terrible when a pet dies... Even the smallest of pets touch our lives so much. We love them to pieces, but their lives are too short. I know how you feel right now, my pet guinea pig died two weeks ago, am I'm still trying to get over it. You were fortunate that despite Simon's liver problems he gave you six wonderful years. He was a beautiful bird.

Sorry for your loss. I'm a bird lover myself, I have 1 lovebird, 2 African Greys (Timneh and Congo) and love them to death.

Gin, I'm so sorry for your loss. The death of a pet can tear at our heart-strings as much as any loved one. You gave him 6 years he wouldn't have had otherwise. As you said, he is free.
