Our rescue kitten
For those of you who remember, my partner and I rescued a little grey kitten this past spring. We couldn't agree on a name. So he had two. Sampson Templeton. It fit him perfectly. He has brought us more smiles than any cat I can remember. This morning he went in for his neuter surgery and had a heart attack coming out of the anesteshia. My poor little heart is broken. He will be greatly missed.

Oh, Paul! I am so sorry!! How heartbreaking!
I am sure that his short life brought you and your partner great joy & that you two also gave him the love and happiness he so deserved (and wouldn't have had without you!).
Pets touch our lives so deeply, it is hard to imagine life without them. You have my deepest sympathies. I hope you find another kitten to give your love to!

I am so sorry to hear about your kitten Paul! My heart breaks for you and your partner. I do know exactly what you are going through. When I was 20 my beloved calico cat Pumpkin went into renal failure after getting spayed. I have never been back to that vet and hold them responsible to this day. I had to put her to sleep on my lunch hour at work and I still get choked up about it. You guys are in my thoughts.

Oooooh! How sad. Deepest sympanthies. Having loved and lost pets, I know how heartbreaking is to lose one, and under such sudden circumstances it's even harder. Hold fast to the happy memories. May the pain decrease each day until peace returns.

Paul, I'm sure right now there isn't much I can say that is going to help. I do understand completely as I lost my dear Persian, Reboot, last October to Cancer.
He and I fought for a month before he gave up and I had to help him with his pain. I'll never forget him, he brought me through some rough times.
Time does help but for now, grieve, cry, scream and hold on to each other.

Paul
I am very sorry for your loss. Our pets worm their way into our hearts and become part of our families. When they leave us, it really hurts. You gave him a great life that he probably would not have had otherwise. I hope you find another kitty someday. Carol
