My cat Psst (yes, that is her name!)
This is my cat Psst. That's the only thing she's ever answered to, so it stuck! She's a 3 year old Devon Rex. My baby She is tiny - weighs about 6 pounds now, and is full-grown. She knows how to fetch, sit, shake and jump on command.
Luckily she leaves my plants alone for the most part! Except for occasionally climbing on my orchid shelf. She's only knocked a couple pots over so far. Come to think of it, I believe she took a bite from a leaf on my African Violet once. She likes to bat the vines on all my Hoyas. I guess she is a bit of a trouble maker

How, um, unique looking. How'd you teach her those tricks?

A Devon Rex is really not like a cat- more of a mix between a dog/cat/monkey. When she was little I would use treats just like you would with a dog when teaching them tricks. She caught on in no time! Except now she automatically sits & shakes when I have her treats in hand. Hmmmmm, sneaky!

SO CUTE!!! I LOVE Rex cats! Especially Cornish Rex. They are so amazingly intelligent, warm, and people-oriented. I'm sure you and Psst have a lot of fun together.

Yeah she's a handful sometimes! VERY attached to me - when I take the trash out she cries at the door until I get back. Sometimes when I'm walking around the house, she likes to ride on my shoulders. If I'm cooking, she wants to be on the counter watching. Very nosy! I've taken her home with me to Alaska twice, she rides under the seat. It was way too cold for her up there! My mom even gave her her own little heating pad, she never moved from that thing! My mom would say "Just put the cat on simmer." LOL.
Here's a couple more. Helping me clean the bathroom, and NOT HAPPY wearing a cone. LOL!
