Lizards in the Orchid House
I love the little creatures that live in the orchid house. Lizards, geckos, tree frogs, dragonflies and occasional guard cats. I go in the orchid house at night with a flashlight to look for those horrible snails and find all kinds of critters sleeping . This little guy always sleeps on the same leaf. He has grown about 50% in the last couple weeks so I guess he is taking good care of my orchids by eating lots of bugs. They only curl their tail like that when they sleep. So cute! Also a pic of a big grandaddy lizard.

These guys are everywhere.... They get into my Mom's house in Stuart, FL, too! We always try to catch them because they are too dumb to know to get out of the house since certain death awaits them....

They would but Mom spends lots of $$$$ on pest control outside so the vermin don't get inside! Living in Florida, as you might imagine, has its insect challanges, but she'd rather not have the little green guys running around the house because they always die and they are everwhere....under the furniture, in the bathroom, closets...just everywhere...and who wants to wake-up with one of those critters crawling around in your bed!!!!!

I had a home in Ft Myers, FL, about a year and they were always getting into the enclosed pool area. Since the weather permits keeping doors open, the house was open during the day and we had them all over...but we liked the open feeling so we lived with the wild life!
