Ooh Maisy is such a cutie, and Max looks so gentle.
Lazy dogs are my kind of dogs.
We thought about adopting a Greyhound, but we got Miki instead.
Does Max need more exercise than Maisy?
no not really. he likes to play fetch and we take him for walks every now and then. all retired racing greyhounds are lazy. in between races they just sit in their crate and sleep. he probably gets more excersise now! maisy is the "boss" even though she is the small one. they both love to chase birds and squirrels. we renamed him and his former name was game boy.
Gameboy (racing name BS Rossy) is a 2 year old red brindle male with a tiny little face (they called him "chipmunk face" at the racing kennel). Gameboy weighs 72 pounds. He has golden brown eyes and loves to give lots of quick little kisses (but only if you ask for them). He is a very happy boy and wags his tail quite a lot. He is one of the easiest greyhounds his foster family has ever had the pleasure of hosting - he learned their dog door in an hour and never had an accident in the house, he gets along well with the other dogs and is respectful of their space, and he is eager to please and very correctable. Gameboy likes to play with stuffed toys and runs around the house and yard tossing and shaking his stuffies. Gameboy is a bit of a watchdog, an unusual quality in a greyhound. He gets along well with both large and tiny dogs but we're not sure about cats or small critters yet.
