Default Pet Frog?

Well, he's not exactly a pet, but I've become attached to this Cuban Tree Frog who's a bit of a camera ham. He's got a ravenous appetite when it comes to insects, as I recently observed from my office window and he even has an interest in Orchids...See how he inspects the progression of their roots.

He's the cutest thing! I love the pic with him peeking out of the pot. And he really does look like he's checking out the roots on your vanda. Awwww!!!

I just refer to him as Froggy. I think the frog pictured on the Vanda is his or her mate. It's slightly smaller and doesn't exhibit the dark pattern as much as the other one. I thought you might enjoy this photo taken today. I was in the back yard mowing and my husband (who is afraid of frogs) asked me to turn off the mower and assist him. He had been busy taking down an old basketball hoop & stand when he noticed small frogs crawling out of the hollow pipes supporting the hoop. I checked all the pipes and coaxed a few babies out and transplanted them into a spider plant on my front porch. About an hour later this one still remained. He seems to be a camera ham like his daddy.

That photo along with papa peeking out of the pot are too adorable.
They would be perfect in a calendar
Good health to your little bug eating orchid loving friends ..
Your hubby needs to get over his ranidaphobia (fear of frogs) ..
The only thing I dislike (and not really fear) about frogs is when they pee in my hands when holding them.
Those little fellas are too cute and helpful to be feared!

wow! I wish I lived somewhere where frogs were so common. It's considered a rarity and kind of a treat to spot a frog around here, and you would certainly not find one stuck to your window!
Soooo cute!

That's awesome. You gotta love some of the critters in florida. Nice roots on that plant, too, by the way.
