Chloe
My chihuahua Zoey died the day before Easter last year. I was not aware of how much I was attached to her. On 5 July, a co-worker of my wife had a dog with a litter of 6 pups. The 2 females had longer hair and were lighter in color, and all the males had very short coats and more dark markings. The did not look like they were from the same litter. My wife knew I wanted a female, and so took the smaller one. Cute and cuddly little Chloe - but she has the eyes of a rascal.
Zoey RIP
Chloe about 5 or 6 weeks
Enjoying a belly rub at about 6 months.
I still miss my chihuahua, but Chloe is helping to ease the hurt. Strangely, I noticed that there are no dark markings anywhere on her - her nose, her lips, her pads are all pink. I never saw a dog like that before.

She's lovely.
They take up a huge space in our hearts that we didn't realise was empty.

Chloe is really beautiful. I am very sorry about the loss of your pup and so glad that Chloe is helping you through this. We lost our nearly seventeen-year-old pup in January and I am so glad we still have our other pup (the orchid destroyer) to comfort us.

We lost our buddy, Nathan, tragically last October. He seemed to hand me off to Guinness, our newest cat. I feel like I lost a limb. It's taken me months to warm up to Guinness but, she is a love and fills a portion of the hole in my heart. Congratulations on Chloe. May she have a good, long, healthy, happy, life with you!

That picture of Chloe at six weeks makes me want to just pick her up and snuggle up that puppy breath. What a cutie!

Yug, I'm so sorry about your loss of Zoey. I know all too well the pain of losing a beloved dog. Chloe looks like a real sweetheart, and I'm glad to know she is a part of your family now. She's a lucky dog!

Sweetness galore. Your Zoey is around you more than you may know-this I believe. Love to give and love to get back.

Thanks, all.
Chloe looks very cuddly, but she was the runt of the litter, and her first inclination was to bite with her needle sharp teeth. Now she only bites when playing.
We kept Zoey's ashes and have a small booklet of her pictures near it.
