I've never been much of a dog person either, until I met my girlfriend's Staff.

Sweetest dog ever in spite of the breed's (unjustified) reputation, and it's so fun to go run in the woods or play tug-of-war with him.

I totally agree, bad dogs are bad because of their owners, not by nature.

Totally agreed! Except, for the cat part. 🤣 Fortunately, my cats are well behaved. The stories I could tell you about the "country" neighborhood dogs....maybe that's a new thread?
