I've had a few good ones over the years, but the one that stands out most is The Dude. He started out as an 8 week old ball of fire. My wife brought him home against my wishes, since we already had a cat and 2 of her 12 week old kittens. The introduction happened in the kitchen over a bowl of food. The older cats were sharing the bowl when The Dude was placed on the floor a few feet away. He instantly doubled in size, let out an ungodly howl, and waded into the three larger cats, sending them all packing in a few seconds. He then settled down to eat, giving an occasional growl to keep the others at Bay. When he finished he licked his paws and walked away without a care in the world. He turned into a bear weighing almost 20lb that climbed vertical brick walls and though nothing of running up a tree and taking down an adult squirrel, yet he was also the most laid-back cat I ever saw.
