Hey all! Wanted to share my adorable miniature poodle puppy Marcel and my 7 hermit crabs (all named Crab) and thie crabitat.

Hoping the pictures are willing to load this time, unlike the last time I tried to post this!

Very nice! We had hermit crabs for a few years, many years ago, when the kids were small. Now I have cherry shrimp in the tank.

Cool! I really want to have a shrimp tank at some point. I'm starting grad school this fall but maybe after I'm done and I've settled down somewhere I'll get back into aquariums. I also really want a goldfish tank someday

Thanks! It took me a lot of time to assemble. And I got lucky with the tank, i found it on craigslist after looking for months for something with the perfect dimensions, it turned out the guy who was selling it had it custom made for hermit crabs! It really is perfect for them.

A Crabitat. How great is that? What a fun yet manageable space. I'm an old aquariast? Is that even a word? at heart. Loved all my different critters since I was a kid. I've thought often of bringing a small one back up just for shrimp... time gets in the way.

Marcel appears to be a very gooood boy. And an onery look as well. Who has time for more, with a pupster to train?
