hahaha DC! True!!!!!!!
A slight change up now hehehehe ....... I took these two pics last night, and the low light was making it hard for the phonecam to do the auto-focus. Quite poor low-light focusing performance ----- so I rattled off enough shots and finally got at least some in focus ----- but poor lighting hehehe.
Google drive links (higher res):
Pic 1 link
Pic 2 link
The result is gingercat looking like a peanut or cashew in the middle of the lawn hahaha.
The true story is that gingercat didn't know that I was taking the phone-pics, as I very quietly snuck up behind her. It was quite windy as well, so she didn't hear me.
So after taking the pics (with the 2nd shot taken when I got quite close to gingercat) ------ I then just ducked right down to review the phone-pic images in the phone.
I think gingercat then heard something behind her (which was me, but didn't know it was me behind her). Oh geez ......... it was almost the case of 'cucumber behind cat' situation. She almost had an 'incident' (panic attack!). Got into defense/attack freeze mode in record breaking time.
And then realised it was me, and then she played it cool after that heheheh.

A peanut, like the pale orange "Circus Peanuts" that you get for Halloween. She also looks a bit like a marshmallow there.

For the record, I think “circus peanuts” may be the worst candy of all time. Just one mans opinion but I don’t get them. They don’t taste like peanut, they don’t really taste like anything??? What am I missing lol

If we could just take some pointers from our cats as they are masters of relaxation-taking time out for what really matters. Do you brush this beauty? Her fur is so healthy and lush. I want that hair color...am I repeating myself? Long live gingercat.

Hi DeaC! hahaha ...... masters of relaxation sums it up perfectly for cats hahaha. That's truer than true!
Gingercat does get her fur brushed nearly every day - mainly to cut down on any issue with building up a pile of fur that gets into her mouth and system when she's cleaning herself.
Gingercat is almost like forever cleaning herself. Every time she finishes eating, even if it's just a little bit of food, she then starts cleaning herself.
Even though is it probably usual cat behaviour ----- not sure whether that behaviour is taught from the parents behaviour, or just in-built behaviour ----- such as if they know they don't keep themselves today, then they can run into problems of some sort.

As a lifelong cat owner i can tell you that even kittens hand raised will preen. It is instinctual behavior, though I do indulge often in anthropomorphizing.

Thanks for mentioning that DOM! Nature is full of amazing 'surprises' and features! Like those animals such as deer, cows etc, that just get born and then they're running around etc after a relatively short amount of time!
