Strange Brown Marks on my Catasetum
Default Strange Brown Marks on my Catasetum

Hello everyone.
I recently discovered this mark on the bulb of my Catasetum.

From what I have researched it might be a slug bite and the brown discolouration might be fungal infection after the bite was done.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I agree that it looks like mechanical damage from something biting it. Unless it expands due to an infection, there is nothing more to do for the plant. What's done is done.

Luckily Catasetums are very forgiving. Little damage like this will just be part of last year's dried leaves.
