I use a systemic which gets all stages over a long period of time. Safari or Bayer 3 and 1 Insect and Mite control are two available.

While I can't speak for this specific instance, from a general perspective I find the predatory species approach awesome! I have horses and when I had my own home and stable I bought fly predators every summer (they are a tiny non stinging gnat wasp that lay their eggs in fly larvae cocoons, and the wasp larvae eat the developing fly, hence, no adult fly!) They were amazing, dropped the fly population in my horse stable to barely noticeable, when everyone else in the area was just swarmed.
