Howdy,
I'm not that familiar with growing dendrobiums, but I suspect that it's "happy sap". Maybe someone else in the forum would know more about this.

Yes i have seen it on my Den and 1 of my phals. If you taste it its is really sweet. If you don't feel there is something wrong go with that.

ive been told that the sap is to attract not only pollinators but ants, bees and wasps that will eat aphids and other little nasties that threaten the plant and its blooms and give it a better chance of reproducing.
