Default Discolored pbulbs in prostechea chacaoensis

My prostechea which just recently finished blooming has two pbulbs turning yellow with mosaic pattern/ brown color from bottom up. They are not soft or squishy. Photo included. There are both on the same branch. Second branch looks good and green.
My question: what may be the cause? And should I let them be or cut them off?

That is some sort of systemic rot.

Topical treatments (hydrogen peroxide or Physan) won't do much, so you'll have to resort - quickly - to a systemic.

On the "chemical" treatment side, I'd consider a copper-based treatment like Phyton, as I cannot be certain if it's a bacterial or fungal rot.

If you wanted to try the biological approach, Inocucor Garden Solution is your best option (and it happens to be on sale!).

Ray,
Thank you for your replay.
I understand the treatment necesity, but, do I remove the damage pbulbs? Or that will cause more spread of the problem?
