Default update on phals with rot

I am pleased to report that all 7 of my phals with soft rot (most likely edwinia) are recovering nicely. I decided not to use the Physan thanks to all the helpful advice here. I cut off every bit of rot with sterilized shears and dusted every cut with cinamon and repotted and held my breath. I think this is a miracle seeing this was my 1st bout with any orchid disease. The poor things sure look mutilated but some are actually showing some new growth! Thanks to all for the advice!

I'm glad they're recovering, but I doubt it was erwinia, as that liquefies a plant from the inside, out and can take a plant from seemingly healthy to gone in just a couple of days.
