Insects on Brassavola Little Stars Female
Default Insects on Brassavola Little Stars

Finally after all this time since I last posted, my B little Stars has been growing and now has five flower buds! Already had to upgrade her pot several months ago.

But now I’m really worried. This morning I found Many tiny pin head sized black insects of some sort. Too tiny to see legs. In the pic attached you can see them on the darker part of the root...if you zoom in.

I have no idea what to do. When I was testing to see if it might be mold, I blew on it.. and the bugs went down into the media; which prob means there’s who knows How many and where they are!😱

Please any ASAP help most appreciated!!!

In case it’s related, I recently noticed a couple of roots that look “molded”. I see some of the bugs are there as well.
Also this orchid has Never been outside...and I have no other houseplants at all.

Added pics of roots
