Clear Transleaucent Spots on White Blooms Brown spot on Leaves

There!!! I'm new to orchids and the forum. Since you all have a wealth of knowledge I figured I'd ask. I don't know all the ills or the typical behaviors and I have been researching with no results. I'd rather find out I'm a worrying mother than my plant be sick, but I wouldn't know the difference.
I have a Beautiful White Phalaenopsis. I purchased it with half buds. The Blooms that are on it have tiny Clear Translucent Spots on the White Blooms and a Brown spot on Leaves. It looks like a dry spot would on a normal plant. Is there anything to worry about? I don't want to make my other babies sick. Feel free to tell me I'm an idiot.

it could be any type of insect, but to better help you why don,t you show us some pictures

It mostly sounds like a rot spot or sun damage of some sort. Pictures would help.

I'm attaching a similar photo, I'm not home, but I found one similar in my photo archive.

Not to sound stupid, but the tiny hole on the bottom right of the bloom, see how it's clear around it. Mine look like that.

That looks like rot to me. Maybe caused by damage from water on blossoms. Do you spray your plants? Not a good choice if answer is yes - tell me you don't

I bought this one in this condition. It has about 6 blooms now and it has 6 more buds, the blooms are about 4" each. I got the plant for $7.00 at a flea market. Why is misting bad?

If water is left on leaves or blossoms especially at night it can lead to rot caused by micro organisms in the water. Most orchid growers say to dry off the orchids at night (when temps are cooler and breezes are down - no air movement).

To me the big holes kind of look like physical damage before opening. Maybe a bug, maybe from a clumsy store clerk.

Water can make those smaller spots.

Yeah, maybe, except for those watery spots, even on the little spots.

looks like a bug bored through the bud before openeningthats why the 2 holes are excactly opposite each other
at least that would be my guess
