The dots are slightly indented. It could be thrips, I'm not sure how to get rid of them. Every source says to use insecticides but it's very hard to get them here in Canada it seems.
You can probably get insecticidal soap at an garden or hydroponics shop. It is sold as an organic insecticide. Barring that, liquid dish soap 5ml per liter can be sprayed on plants to kill bugs. It does not always kill eggs. I mean dish soap for washing in the sink, not an automatic dishwasher.
70% alcohol sprayed on the plant works well, too. It also may not kill eggs.
