Default Bulb rot on bulbophyllum vaginatum?

What's wrong with this pseudobulb? I have it in a terrarium with 85 in the day and 75 at night, and around 80% humidity. Never gets dry but don't over water

The plant generally looks healthy. I see nothing wrong beyond some scraping damage on one edge of the pseudobulb shown by itself.

They need plenty of water. The roots hanging in the air need to get wet every day.

As long as it is the oldest p-bulbs that are "fading", that's force of nature... the plant sucks them dry to nourish the new growth. (A problem with many Bulbos... they tend to climb out of the pot. ES is is absolutely correct, the roots that are out of the pot need extra water. At some point you have to repot just to put it back into the pot so that it gets adequate mosture.

It just finished blooming so was thinking about either mounting or repotting. Was gonna wait til spring though.

Sure, makes sense... look for new growth. In the meantime, you could drape some sphagnum moss over the roots that are out of the pot to help keep them hydrated.

Many Bulbos grow all year if it's warm enough. You might not have long to wait.

I would wait to repot until you see signs of new growth and new roots.
