Default Help! my oncidium...

My oncidium looks like it’s developed some sort of mold! Any thoughts on what it could be and how I can treat?

It’s on one of the sheaths to a pseudobulb.

I don't think you need to worry about that. If you need to do something, spray it with amber Listerine. Belonging to the board should make you far less reactive, I know it has for me. I see my oncidiums do weird stuff all the time.

White fuzzy mold grows on dead plant material. It won't hurt living plants, but it indicates something is dead in the pot. I just leave it alone and try to figure out whether the dead material is important or not.
