It certainly is possible that the grow light burned it. It looks like it could be sunburn, but after I looked it a second time, I wasn't as certain as I thought I was at first lol. One of the reasons I doubted my original diagnosis was because this time of year, it would be strange for a plant to get sunburned, but a light could have done it, if it was too close. It certainly won't get burned any further in an east window, but that probably won't be enough light for it to be really happy.
But still, unless you are certain that it is sunburn, I would advise cutting the affected part off, just in case it is bacterial or something that could spread. It doesn't look like virus, so I don't think you need to worry about that. You could also take a wait and see approach and see if it spreads further.
