They aren't a problem. Just submerging the pot in a soapy solution (jabón potásico) and giving the ants a way to flee into the garden (a bridge so to say), and they will do so.
You would like it too before repotting! After three years that might be a good thing to do.

I get ants when it's warm enough. The warm, damp bark is ideal for their nurseries, and there are always columns of ants criss crossing the ggreenhouse.
Every now and thenn, I will go water one plant, and the ants will come BOILING out of the pot, which can be a bit disconcerting.
In all honesty, I leave them alone. Usually after getting a good wetting, they move the nursery elsewhere. I am not bothered much with mealies, and I don't think the few I get in are brought in by the ants, altho I might be wrong. There are far worse pests that literally just drop out of the sky.
The ants do remove the sugary guttation droplets that I get on the Catasetinae, so they do keep them nice and clean.
