We have had a ridiculous amount of rain over the past week and when I checked this guy today I saw this little brown spot on the bulb. It's not soft at all but there is a weird little split going through the center of it. Any thoughts?
An insect may have sampled the plant, and infection entered. If it is spreading, cut off the pseudobulb well below the brown part and dab powdered cinnamon on the cut surface.

Ok, will definitely keep and eye on it. I pulled it out of the rain, it's been nonstop for the past 8 days, and was thinking about spraying it with a little physan. I really hope I don't have to cut the bulb, that thing grows so compact I'm not sure how to go about that with out damaging any of the other bulbs
