Default Brassavola Nodosa Sunburn or Fungal Infection?

I got this orchid from lowes a few months ago. It was in pretty terrible looking bark, but still managing to grow a bit. I moved it to lava rock in a net pot. I grow it indoors and it gets full sun from the balcony. I'm worried that it might be fungal since it seems to mainly be at the top of the plant. No other plants are affected. Plant is watered every 2-3 days.

If anything, I see some mechanical damage that has matured (much as a bruise on us takes a while to evolve). Other than that, it looks pretty healthy to me.

I have a plant whose leaves scrape the side of the basket. The damage looks the same.

Could the overhang on the display shelf be the problem? It normally sits there (see pic). It would have to lean forward to get more sun. Or is this maybe just from the bad quality bark?

Didn't realize it was mechanical. Thanks!

Maybe it was there when you got it and just now showed up.
