What do you think that is?
It seems to be depressions but I'm in doubt if are protuberances instead.
It appears only on the upper side of the leaf, in one single leaf. The bottom side is clean without any noticeable signs of anything.

Photos of the upper and bottom side.

Edema, if you can not scratch it off. If you can scratch it off, it is scale.

I tried to scratch it a knife...some of them are protuberances while others seems to be depressions.
Couldn't scratch it off with the knife, now I'll try with alcohol.

I never dealt with scale before. I don't know if it get loose easily with alcohol but after a trial, it didn't get off the leaf.

Scale scratches off easily and usually leaves a yellow mark where the scale was. I think this is edema.

Edema then. Edema is a water blister, caused by the plant taking in to much water. Usually is not harmful to plant other than making it look bad/ugly. Can be a vector for diseases to enter the plant. So, keep an eye on it

Your new Laelia anceps? I too would vote for old edema / oedema patches. When you put it outside in the cool dry air it will probably not recur.

As long as we are on this topic, can edema turn into "pits?"
