Fungus, good or bad? Male
Default Fungus, good or bad?

This fungus showed up the other day. Just got the plant before Thanksgiving. I don't think it was there then. I don't think it is harmful to the plant but it is on one of it's roots. Usually mushrooms are not the agent to do harm but are the fruiting body of the fungus. This is probilty the mount having a fungus that was activated by the high humidity and warm temps of the greenhouse.. Should I be alarmed or should I just try to remove the mushrooms?

I would not be alarmed, I don't think it will harm your plant. it is a bracken and is attached to the wood mount, just touching the root. You can probably remove the fungus if you prefer that.
