Hi guys and girls, both these blemishes are on den nobile hybrids. The first one appeared on a new growth a while back, on just one leaf. it hasn't spread to any other leaves or even progressed at all, so I'm leaning towards bug damage (even though I never found any bugs).

The others are on a few den nobiles that I got from the same supplier over a year ago when I was just starting to collect orchids. Thought nothing of them at the time. They don't seem to be either growing or spreading to other leaves/plants, but they do look a bit ugly.

So any ideas what they are? Or if I should be worried?

Cheers!

In the second pic I think it's the landing marks of an UFO...one can see clearly the four feet of the ship.

Just kidding...
I have no idea what it might be. Sorry!

Hmm, I always expected UFOs to be a little bigger than that...

... does imidacloprid work on alien life forms? Or might that provoke interstellar conflict? 😂

The first one looks like the result of sunburn or some sort of sucking insect.

ETs fool you with all the misinformation about their size. It's not the size of the ET with the death ray gun, it's the size of the death ray gun with the ET.

The two black spots could be left over from lots of different things. If they haven't changed in a while, I wouldn't worry.
