Default Phal with leaf problems

My friend asked me to look at her phal orchid because the leaves have a problem. I have no idea what is wrong with it, unless it is too close to the light, but I took a picture and told her some of you may be able to help identify the problem.

Her window does not get much light, so she bought an
HQRP Quad-Band 225 LED 14W Blue + Red + Orange + White Indoor Garden Hydroponic Plant Grow Light Panel and hung it from the ceiling. She bought the orchid from Lowes about 3 weeks ago and the leaves were not like this when she brought it home. She waters with purified water.

Does anyone have any ideas?

What exposure is the window? How much light does it get there? (Some direct, or dappled?) Has it been very hot? How close to the window does it sit?

East window and about a foot from the window, so not much direct sunlight. That is why she bought the LED light. It has been hot but she has air conditioning. If you noticed, the one leaf's end is dried out totally, and the other leaf had a bubbled area on it right in the middle of the leaf.

If it is because of the light, why wouldn't the blooms be affected because they are closer to the light than the leaves? My friend loves my orchids and was afraid to try growing them, but I told her I would guide her Some guide I am..

I thought perhaps the dried brown area on the one leaf might have perhaps been touching the glass when it was receiving sun during some hot temps. If it's that far from the window, that can't be it, then.

Hopefully some others will be able to help!

I don't know for sure. Heat or light damage might look like that. Phals are low-light plants, and the eastern window is probably fine with no supplemental lighting.

If the dead margin isn't advancing toward the center of the plant, I would ignore the issue. If the dead zone is expanding, I would stop using the supplemental light.
