Browning leaf tips on Neostylis Lou Sneary Bluebird

Any idea what might be causing leaf tips to turn brown or to cause the browning within the leaf? It's only on one side of the plant--the other side looks ok.

There are a number of possibilities. Tell us about your growing conditions, watering and feeding regimen, and whatever else you might be using on the plant.

I see you live in NYC, which has some of the purest water in the country; are you using a fertilizer intended for pure water?

Hi Ray--

I use a dilute MSU RO/Tap/Rain fertilizer once a week--maybe a little less. Water it daily but make sure it's dry (no condensation inside the plastic pot) before doing so.

It is potted in loose, chunky bark and perlite. I know a lot of people keep these and other vandaceous in less media but I've struggled to keep roots from drying out that way. It sits in a southeast facing window and gets direct sunlight until about 10am (though it's been cloudy for a few weeks).

The water is pretty good here as far as tap water goes...
