Hello

Im having a problem with specifically just one orchid. the flowers die before the opened. today I saw a very very little insect near the flower but didnt know what was it, only sure it wasnt a mite.

the 3 photos are the same orchid. for about 2 months it's happening that problem on the same orchid

Any idea?

Bugs called thrips can do this on Vandas. I don't know about Phalaenopsis.

You can read here on the Orchid Board how to deal with thrips. People use a spray insecticide just on the flower spike. Use the Search in the top maroon menu bar.
