Is This Edema?
Hi everyone! My Phal that otherwise has been doing very well has all of a sudden developed these clear/white blisters on one leaf and on the petals of the one remaining bloom. I did water it a little sooner than I normally do before I left for Easter break (I'm a teacher), so I'm thinking that it might be edema, but I can't seem to find any pictures that look exactly like what's on my plant. I see no signs of insects on the plant, and the blisters are hard (not fuzzy) and mostly clear, almost like a hole is starting to form. I don't want to treat it with alcohol or a pesticide unnecessarily, so any help anyone could give would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

No, not edema. I would say it's a bacterial or fungal infection spread by water droplets that may have been there when you "shut down" for the break. Unless you see it spreading, I'd chalk up the experience and not give it another thought.

Thank goodness, I was worried that it might be something awful. Thanks for the help!
